My desire to wear my own designs led all my vacations to have spent on sewing projects, shopping, giving instructions to master ji (as tailors are called with all due respect back in India) and later on embellishing them and my brother has accompanied me all along, reluctantly so. Being an Indian, we hear about and believe in reincarnations and my brother therefore one day proclaimed me as a seamstress reincarnated as a dentist. ‘ You must have been a seamstress in your last life’ were his exact words. And Voila!! the idea appealed to me big time and I christened myself as a Pastlife Seamstress. Yeah. That’s it.
