Bonjour, Namaste & Hello there!
If you are wondering what I’ve been tied up in, all this while, then the answer is a ‘belt‘. Literally!!
This also comes in memory of a similar belt (which was brought from India when I came here, but could not be found 🙁 ). Now that it has been in trend for sometime, I’m back at my crafts table and this comes straight from there. I went to a supermarket on a weekend and spotted this very summery lime coloured cord lace. I grabbed it off the rack and here it is, re-fashioned into a belt!
Besides the cord lace…

I used some glass beads, some metal beads, a couple of shells and my beloved pompoms
You can take a piece of lace according to the length of belt that suits you.

Tied simple knots at both ends

Sewed in a pompom
Yes I love pompoms, I use them a lot and at lot of different places and they just fit in everywhere!

Sewed in the rest of the beads

and finished off…

on both the ends!

Lets catch up the last bits of summer..

looks good on my black, white and orange dress too!

looks delicate and feminine!

Does it work? Let me know…
With summer slipping away quick as a handful of sand, this probably is a good bye to my summer crafts!
Hope you liked it and DIY it! Let me know…I’m listening…
Take care, till I come back with more.
🙂
